Vacheron Constantin Historiques 222 4200H/222A 37mm
The Vacheron Constantin 222 returns as a triumphant revival of one of the most important luxury sports watches ever created. Originally introduced in 1977 for the Maison’s 222nd anniversary and designed by Jorg Hysek, the modern reissue remains remarkably faithful to the original from its monobloc 37mm case and fluted bezel to the seamlessly integrated bracelet and iconic Maltese cross at 5 o’clock. Now executed in stainless steel, it takes on a more contemporary, versatile character, elevated by a striking blue dial that offers depth, contrast, and refined sport elegance. Powering the watch is the ultra-thin in-house Caliber 2455/2 automatic movement, visible through the sapphire caseback and finished to the exacting standards of Geneva Seal craftsmanship. With a 40-hour power reserve, 4Hz frequency, and exceptional hand-finishing throughout, the 222 is not just a design icon, it is serious horology. At just 7.95mm thick, it wears with effortless comfort while maintaining a strong and confident presence on the wrist.
